A two-month cruise around Australia is being halted following the tragic passing of an senior woman who was stranded by the ship on a remote island.

Suzanne Rees had been hiking on the remote island with fellow passengers from the cruise ship, but broke off from the party for a break. The liner sailed away leaving her and returned later that day after the ship staff discovered the passenger was missing.
